Privacy policy

This policy describes how WORLD IN CAB SAS, publisher of www.taxi-massy.com, collects, processes and protects your personal data, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended.

We only collect what is strictly required to deliver the taxi service you request:

• Identity: first and last name from the form or phone call.
• Contact details: phone number (mandatory), email (optional, for written confirmation).
• Trip data: pick-up address, destination, date and time, passenger count, special notes.
• Technical data: connection IP address (anti-spam and traceability). No advertising or behavioural cookies.

3. Purposes

• Organise and operate the taxi ride you request.
• Call you back to confirm or adjust the pick-up.
• Issue an official receipt or invoice on request.
• Comply with legal obligations (accounting records, prefectural audits).

The legal basis is performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures at your request (GDPR Art. 6.1.b). For accounting retention, the basis is compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c).

4. Retention

• Unconfirmed requests: 3 months after last contact.
• Completed ride data: 3 years after the trip (contract management and aftersales).
• Accounting records (invoices, receipts): 10 years (French Commercial Code Art. L. 123-22).

5. Recipients

Your data is processed only by the WORLD IN CAB SAS staff in charge of organising rides. No data is sold, shared, rented or used for direct marketing. Technical processors (web host, email provider) may access data strictly for their service, under contractual confidentiality (GDPR Art. 28).

6. Transfers outside the EU

No transfer of personal data outside the European Union is performed. Hosting and email services are operated by EU-based providers.

7. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your data and obtain a copy.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data (subject to legal retention).
• Restrict processing.
• Port your data in a structured format.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any right, write to contact@taxi-massy.com. We respond within one month. ID verification may be requested if reasonable doubt exists.

8. CNIL complaint

If you believe your rights are not respected after contacting us, you may lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL): 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris CEDEX 07 — www.cnil.fr.

9. Cookies

www.taxi-massy.com places no advertising or third-party tracking cookie (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, etc.). Only strictly necessary technical cookies (session, form security) may be used; they are exempt from prior consent requirements per CNIL deliberation 2020-091.
